"Bend and twist reality in A Fisherman's Tale, the mind-bending VR puzzle adventure game in which being turned upside down and inside out is not merely a play on words. Playing as Bob, a tiny fisherman puppet, you live alone in your tiny cabin, oblivious to the world outside. When your radio broadcasts a storm alert, you have to get to the top of the lighthouse and turn on the light! But as you try to leave your cabin with the help of some uncanny sidekicks, you realize what's waiting outside is not at all what you expected..."

killerstar's review of A Fisherman's Tale

The core concept is pretty neat. You inhabit a recursive model of a lighthouse and puzzles involve essentially passing objects between levels of reality to make them smaller or bigger. Puzzles are rather simple, but satisfying.

A small problem is the physics. Grabbing and moving object around is not super smooth and a few times I had objects getting stuck in the geometry. While it has sitting controls, too often I would need to grab things under or inside my couch.

A bigger problem is the narration. The narrator is constantly talking. He just can't shut up. Talks about the story and the puzzles and even after turning off hints would spout out solutions if I took more than a single millisecond to solve them.

Thankfully the game is short and so the torture is brief. But I would've enjoyed the game much more if the devs would've cut the narrator and spent the extra money in more puzzles.

An original short adventure

Now that's something I never experienced before in terms of gameplay. The puzzles were easy/medium for the most part. I got stuck a couple of times. Definitely worth it to see the little story to the end.
