8-Bit Bayonetta was released for April Fool's Day as a clever tease for the PC port of Bayonetta. But the joke's on you. I had fun with this game. I enjoyed the simple yet challenging jump-and-shoot gameplay. I got a solid 2 hours of entertainment out of the game, and I 100-percented it. You thought you could prank me, but I pranked you back by treating your prank game the same as I would an actual game. Get pranked, Sega. Get pranked, Platinum Games. Y'all just got pranked!
You stand on the left. Enemies come from the right. You jump and shoot. That's it.

I've not really played the main Bayonetta games but had this sitting in Steam and decided to check it out. It's fine, but I was hoping for something more dynamic.
Bayonetta stands on the left side of the screen and you shoot while standing, jumping, or double jumping to take out waves of incoming enemies. It all works fine, but I thought this was going to be something more like a twin-stick shooter, with the ability to move around the screen and shoot at enemies coming in from all directions.
I simply hate the controls. You can't even hit the flying angels properly. I get that it's only meant to tease us of what's to come but at least make a proper one.
