The creator of one of my/our most played board games has died. He had such a huge influence on what board games are today. If you have never tried CATAN, you really should give it a chance. We started when the first version came out in 1995 and still play it with various add-ons at least twice a year with the family. I always lose because nobody wants to buy my sheep, it's a family running gag.

I have never played a video game version of this game, but it seems there are several versions, even a VR one, no reviews on Grouvee. Has anyone tried any of them?
