This is a fun adventure game but has a few problems. The story is enjoyable and suitably Star Trek. The voice acting is very good, although Marina Sirtis is phoning it in. The more traditional point-and-click adventure game parts are great fun, but the parts where you actually have to run the ship are filled with bad game mechanics. You have to wait around; the interface is crummy; combat is just a confusing and dull slog (or you can just outsource it to Worf); and navigating the ship is just baffling at times. If I didn't have a walkthrough, I'd have no idea how to solve one section at the end.
