Play either the Road Runner OR Wile E. Coyote in this unique side-scroller that is just like an interactive Saturday morning cartoon. Your goal: run through six different desert environments before time expires, collecting ACME stamps. As the Road Runner, speed is your ally as you do incredible jumps, burn though loop-de-loops, and avoid all of the Coyote's contraptions and ambushes. The Road Runner can also scare an unsuspecting Coyote with his Beep-Beep attack. As the Coyote, you use Acme's crazy gadgets to catch the Road Runner, constantly attempting to master their power without getting yourself flattened. The Coyote has … More

Worth Playing If You're A Big Fan Of The Characters. Or Cartoony Gameplay
This review is for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis version

Preliminary: I'm not sure what I think of this one. It's got a great Look, it sounds and feels like the cartoon (but never been a huge Coyote/Road Runer fan), and it's a neat idea that you can play as either. Technically the controls are fine, but they try to recreate the cartoon goofiness like a delayed but then abrupt turn around for Coyote and a Sonic-esque control to Road Runner. I dunno, I guess I will let the numbers decide. I'd be okay with a 2 or 3 star, even tho I don't see myself returning to it regularly it's a technically well-made game that has some features I would like.

Look: 8/10 Great backgrounds, good recreation of the show, clear

Sound: 7/10 Neat how it sounds like Looney Tunes. But I'm not a big fan of that. Still, I have to respect that they achieved what they were trying to do.

Play: 6.5/10 Again, I respect that this is probably exactly what they wanted to make, but it only held me for a couple levels as Road Runner, and no levels as Coyote because catching Road Runner wasn't my cup of tea. Road Runner was very Sonic-esque, which …

Feel: 6.5/10 Good Look boosts this, but otherwise quite passable.

Attachment: 6.5/10 Part of me thinks that if someone says they like Coyote and Road Runner, I should recommend this. The other part of me says, there's no way I'm returning to this so just move on.

Overall: 6.9/10 Just barely didn't make the 3 star cut
