Competently Made Blandness
This review is for the PlayStation 3 version

Game Summary : Break out of jail and learn that you're a god! Apparently being a god means spamming the same attack over and over to defeat meaningless waves of enemies. Some plot happens.

Review Portion : This very much feels like a game from a group of people making their first game. The plot is actually a very cool concept, but isn't at all fleshed out. Dialogue is terrible. There's an interesting item system where you can destroy equipment for stat boosts, but it's very much broken. The powers seem more interested in showing off what effects they can use than really being helpful or mechanically unique. To its credit, the game never broke. It may have been mediocre every step of the way, but it worked.

Summary : A totally serviceable game that does nothing well enough to be able to suggest it, especially at its current price. Not great, but not broken or so bad that it's good. If this didn't have a rare physical release it would be absolutely forgotten.

Personal Score : 6/10

"Objective" Score : 5/10

Bad, but it's a kind of bad you eventually get used to by the end
This review is for the PlayStation Network (PS3) version

Can't speak for the "so bad it's good" stuff as I barely listened to any of the pointless dialogue, but the gameplay itself is absurdly monotonous and if I said this was just a port of a mediocre PS2 game, you would BELIEVE me.

At least the PS NOW free trial platinum trophy was quick (for the love of God though, PLEASE make sure the game is set on easy mode as you play it, you'll waste so much time on Medium)
