Neat RPG, But Burned Out Early

Preliminary: Even tho I didn't love the quirky anime beginning cutscene, and I don't like isometric movement, there is a lot to like about this game. The Look is very comforting in an odd way, and the auto features are very well-done for when you just wanna sit back and relax, while the active combat is engaging when in the mood. It seems quite easy so far but it's early game. The music is just so-so, so we shall see if I stick with the entire game or just give it an RPG Replay tag and move on. After all, this is PS1 era... But still, here I am, playing anyway (haven't had to grind yet, looking for the witches in the forest right now, darn thin pathways!)
(Personal opinion:) I don't really care for the somewhat-humorous and/or quirky demony enemies of many JRPGs. Like Kefka, or all the enemies so far in this game (e.g.,
Early Game
Despite the many flaws, I like how balanced it is (well, how easy it is so far lol) and how you get a weapon, say like the Sacred Staff, and then soon have the young witch join your time who I realized can equip it. And unlike some 96 JRPGs that surprisingly still had bad inventory management/equip processes, this is very straightforward (and pretty, to boot).
With Gami Gami City things are getting increasingly Earthbound-y, aka odd :-p
Beautiful, tho I need to find a darn Inn >.<
Unfortunately I've burned out in the Gami Gami Town. Without a particularly striking Look or Sound (as good-enough as both were), this is a definite RPG Replay tag and move on situation.
Look: 7.5/10
Sound: 7/10
Play: 7/10
Feel: 7/10
Attachment: 7.5/10 Usual RPG hook made it hard to drop.
Overall: 7.2/10
