I won't forgive Hi-Rez for Global Agenda :) It has been one unique of a game back in 2011. An FPS/RPG like Defiance, but better, maybe because it wasn't attached to a TV series

I won't forgive Hi-Rez for Global Agenda :) It has been one unique of a game back in 2011. An FPS/RPG like Defiance, but better, maybe because it wasn't attached to a TV series

Worst of all is they never shut down servers same with Tribes: Ascend as well, they just keep them running hoping for unaware people to drop few bucks here and there, not knowing that game is not maintained at all. Because of that I have double-thought towards Hi-Rez as a game studio: they cool devs who sucks! Along the lines /between then and now/ many other games were shut down, but only Hi-Rez stuff remained online until this very day, basically confusing people

The way to do it if you a dev who don't want to support the title: give the code away to enthusiastic coders and gamers who cares much more for the concept then yourself. Sell it if need be! Heck, didn't they ran WoW servers illegally not so long ago, until Bliz realized that that's what people want and thus they shell provide :) I believe eventually they ended up making rework of StarCraft 1 as well

Hi-Rez are very talented devs, but they completely mismanaged their most successful titles upon ruins of which they build: Smite, Tribes: Ascend, Paladins.. and will definitely do the same with after-Paladins! Ultimately they left kind of a trail behind them, making me very cautions around paying money for their stuff

PS. The game that does reminds me of GA somewhat is Planetside 2, basically a planetarian battlefield, completely 'analogue' not autos, run and shoot with tonnes of hardware!

Rip all good games.
