An extremely disturbing study on domestic and sexual abuse. Horrifying as all hell. An amazing companion piece to my second favorite game of all time.

Lisa: The First is a very primitive RPG Maker game and does not have a whole lot going on. However the very little details that are spotted can tell you so much especially how abusive and evil Marty and her sexual assaulter really are.

A hopeless experience (Much like Lisa: The Painful) that has no happy moments for a protagonist. The player gets to witness the misery that Lisa experiences throughout the game and it is not a fun time. This game is also accompanied by an extremely horrifying score. Loud, abrasive and distorted audio assaults the player throughout the game.

The First though being drastically different from The Painful is still a great puzzle game with a rich, dark and disturbing story and finale. Much like The Painful.
