With Conquest of Camelot, designer Christy Marx has dug deep into the most ancient roots of legend to restore the power and passion of King Arthur and his court: his queen's forbidden love for Sir Lancelot; the struggle for supremacy between Christianity and the ancient Roman warrior-god, Mithra. Preliminary: After playing a game like Loom, I am nervous for the usual Sierra format where you die a bunch and everything is slow, time-based, and frustrating.

Yeaaaa, sadly this is really dry to me. I've never been fascinated by the Camelot legend, except for the Merlin part. And the Sound so far has been very dry, the exploration of the castle was boring with most rooms just saying there's nothing of interest, and the movement feels outdated after playing Loom. Meh. I feel bad cuz this seems like a beloved game, but it is what it is.
