Ok, I gave this game a fair share but I'm out. It's been 9 levels and 5 hours and the gameplay hasn't really evolved at all. A new type of enemy whose only difference is that cannot be killed with the knife. But since i hadn't killed any enemy, it's functionally the same as the others.

Ok, I gave this game a fair share but I'm out. It's been 9 levels and 5 hours and the gameplay hasn't really evolved at all. A new type of enemy whose only difference is that cannot be killed with the knife. But since i hadn't killed any enemy, it's functionally the same as the others.

It's a shame, because there are some interesting mechanics here and there worldbuilding through overheard dialogue is pretty neat (although if I hear "dark sprits" own more time I'm gonna scream).

So five levels in and the games hasn't evolved beyond level one. It's all variations on the same formula. Tumble some barrels to distract the guard so the kid can sneak pass them. There are some gadgets but so far I haven needed them.

I'm a bit on the fence after a few introductory levels. It's definitely janky, with weird physics and rather ugly artstyle (how many browns can a game have?), but the "superhotiness" of carefully lining out grapple shots or thoughtfully planning my next move while time is stopped is kind of fun for a stealth game. It's definitely janky, with weird physics and rather ugly artstyle (how many browns can a game have?), but the "superhotiness" of carefully lining out grapple shots or thoughtfully planning my next move while time is stopped is kind of fun for a stealth game. And while the instant failure can be a bit frustrated, is not that much of a problem with the quick rewind.
