Wow, I seriously cannot believe that this game exists! Why did no one tell me? Love this game! It's only for $1 on Steam atm. This is one of my favourite films of all time (and the source of my username "Torgo") and I'm surprised and delighted that someone made a game adaptation.

It's basically just an old school platformer with an NES appearance and a steep difficulty curve. As you progress it slowly escalates to maddening levels of challenge. It's not really the kind of game I would usually play, but I am enjoying it because of all the references to the source material. The cutscenes are beautifully rendered pixel art and there are little nods and humorous gags throughout which pay homage to the film in various ways. The 8-bit versions of those memorable haunting tunes from the film are also beautifully composed. What an excellent find. I played for around an hour but I'm stuck on level 8 (I believe there are 10 levels in total). Despite the hardcore difficulty, the game gives you unlimited continues (from the start of the level) which is kind.
