This is an odd little puzzle game that reminds me a bit of Pac-Attack, but with a competitive Puyo Puyo element to it. You have falling blocks that are various colors of Bomberman heads. You rotate sets of three, and three of the same color will make them disappear (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally -- like in Columns). You want to try to set off chains, like in many other such tile-matching games. The main gimmick for this one is the inclusion of bomb tiles, which all explode with a well-placed lit bomb tile. Big explosions will cause the bottom of the opponent's screen to rise with garbage blocks.

The version I played was the PSP one (Japan-only release), via my Vita. All in all I just found it kind of okay at best. The bomb mechanic feels a bit tacked on, and the giant bomb (not that giant bomb) that sometimes appears feels pretty cheap. It's also just not that exciting presentation-wise, in terms of graphics or music, etc. I kind of want to go back to Pac-Attack now and see if that one holds up well at all.

Beat the 1st round just to see what the game is like. Pretty much a Bomberman themed tetris. Not my cup of tea so I am going to pass. Does not help that I can't read Japanese.
