I can't help but be charmed by Clawfish but I'm having trouble explaining why. It's such an odd concept, but I appreciate its simplicity and its consistent cel-shaded presentation, and I'm a sucker for concise yet complete experiences.
A short and affordable indie game that was so pleasant to lose myself in. You'll find relaxing beach vibes along with the serene peace from the in-game atmosphere. I would love to see this expanded upon or given VR support. It'd be so lovely to sit down and get fully immersed in the scenery.
I recommend this game to those that enjoyed the train scene in Spirited Away.
Serene music plays as you get off the train and watch it disappear into the fog as it departs. There's nowhere you need to go, nothing you need to do. You're just here, in this moment, listening to the water wash over the train tracks. There's a claw machine nearby with fish inside - maybe you should try to grab them and release them back into the ocean?
