I, of course, bought Daily Dadish at the ungodly midnight hour. It is still Dadish. Here are some Pros and Cons.

Pros

  1. Still just a solid platforming game.
  2. Way more levels (365 (Maybe 366 with leap day?)) than the last three games. More in this one game than the last three combined.
  3. More characters to play as.
  4. You can change the internal clock on your Switch and get the next day's level.

Cons

  1. In order to play the next day's level, you must wait or change the internal clock in the Switch.
  2. Because the game is able to be started on any day during the year, there isn't a progressive difficulty level which has made levels feel a bit too easy so far.
  3. I wish everyday they celebrated a stupid holiday. In the trailer, they show a kid celebrating like Pastrami Sandwich Day! The three days I have played have featured Dadish's signature dad joke sensibilities, but no specific celebration of a holiday. It is a small gripe, but if you are going to make the daily nature of your game prominent to mention in your title, maybe make your daily levels take full advantage of the daily nature of …

Anyways, I'm having fun. Do not regret the $10 I spent. Full review coming in a year when I finish it.
