Read moreOverall, I was so impressed with this game and found it to be a fun and unique take on the genre! I was really surprised to find myself enjoying this game since I don’t typical go for this style of combat in games. It was really fun to figure out the patterns of each enemy you faced in the active turn based stand offs and it felt more like a puzzle than button mashing which I appreciated. The story was also surprisingly filled with twists and the humor had me chuckling every once in a while. But the very final boss fight felt very annoying and frustrating. It introduced a mechanic that you never used before and it was just confusing and aggravating to try to master a new, tedious skill for just one fight at the end of the game. However, since I enjoyed the entire rest of the game I still think this was a good experience overall.
