Secrets of Blackrock Manor is an escape room puzzle game, where you play as a private investigator trying to find a wealthy arms dealer’s fortune for his distant relative. The game in in first person with freedom of movement, going room by room and solving puzzles to uncover a mysterious backstory and the treasure itself.

The puzzles are extremely good. They’re pretty tough, but with some creative thinking, definitely solvable. I love this type of escape room game, where you can play with a controller and freely roam around. The art style is excellent, with a kind of storybook shading to the 3D art.

The game reminds a lot me of Lorelei and the Laser Eyes, Is This Game Trying to Kill Me, and The Tartarus Key. Extremely well designed puzzle games with a beautiful art style, fair but challenging puzzles, and challenges that test both your logic and creativity. It’s definitely one of the best escape room style games I’ve played, so I super recommend for fans of the genre.
