Hate You is a puzzle game that feels very similar to Untold Stories. You play as a... well, I'm not sure who you are. All you know is you are holding down the fort in some soviet missile silo looking building in the middle of nowhere, day after day getting decoder tasks from an anonymous supervisor. You have to race against the clock to decode a series of numbers, using a printed out manual and archaic computer software.
The puzzles have that very clunky technical feel that some of the Untold Stories chapters had. There is no sleek UI or gameplay, but rather limited controls and bizarre decryption puzzles. Most of the puzzles are very solid though, once you understand what to do (which is part of the puzzle itself).
The story and horror elements do enough to build up some atmosphere, which kept me pretty interested. There were a few kind of mediocre puzzles, and the story didn't really add up to much, but it was a solid single-sitting game to pass an evening.
