Sixteenth game finished this year: Call of the Elder Gods. I really liked the story in this one and it had a really fun elaborate deduction puzzle in chapter 4 that was very satisfying to me as a Golden Idol super-fan. I think it was a great sequel where they really developed the storytelling techniques from Call of the Sea.

Just started this one and so far it is a wonderful sequel to Call of the Sea. The storytelling quality is higher with a great production design. As a seasoned puzzle-adventure game fan I always thought of Call of the Sea as being focused more on its story than its puzzles, and it's about the same here. I think this is totally fine -- they're not trying to be Myst and Riven.

Looking forward to more.
