How Long Is High on Life 2?
One of my GOATS
I liked it better than the first one. It just clicks for me. The perfect mix of incredible visuals, good humor, creative bosses and just anything in the game, and that doom-like combat mixed in with insane movement and an occasional puzzle. Performance problems and the so called "horrible optimization" is a skill issue btw. I have a 3060 laptop and played the entire game on over 60 fps on medium settings with no dlss on a 1440p monitor. No softlocks or bugs either.
Would be good if it wasn't so buggy
Story is great and funny, but had several game breaking bugs and loading issues.
I didn't love the first game because it kind of fell flat mechanically toward the end of the game and Roiland obnoxious enough that I'd switch away from him to other guns so I could listen t funnier comedians like Betsy Sodaro and Tim Robinson. Because the game didn't leave a lasting impression on me I wasn't really excited for a sequel, but I just found out Joe Pera, Ken Marino and John Waters joined the cast so my interested is piqued. I might have to actually check it out.
