This game didn't have enough of a hook to keep my attention. I was drawn to the cool Sci-fi aesthetic but neither the story, nor the characters, nor the alien world, nor the gameplay really grabbed me. It doesn't help that the first encounter with the world is one covered in snow and ice without any other interesting features.

The vastly different critical perspectives on this game is giving me whiplash...and frankly that's a good thing, lol.
However, I really want to know is if there are still troubling labour issues at DON'T NOD and what the fallout was from layoffs and union organized strikes.
