Saw meets Resident Evil

Really enjoyed this one despite some very specific frustrations. First of all- the game is out, but does not make it clear anywhere that IT IS ONLY ACT 1. It is still lengthy - around 6 hours - but it leaves on quite a cliff hanger and I honestly would've just waited had I known it wasn't full complete.

Also, the controls are a bit wonky, tank controls turn very slow and there's no quick turn. The map is pretty buggy as well, sort of having a mind of its own.

The game is fun though, taking very direct inspiration from both Resident Evil (there is even door animations!) and Saw for the story. You play as a man kidnapped and trying to survive while the main adversary - The Judge - torments you and a number of other hostages. It leaves the reasoning a bit cloudy, but hints at resolving many questions you have along the way.

I had a really good time, obviously - I am a huge Saw and Resident Evil fan. I enjoyed the puzzles, exploration, combat, and the level design. I just wish it was, ya know, complete.

I will update when act 2 is …
