This is one of my favorite games of all time. I ended stumbling into the Yo-Kai watch game almost accidentally and fell in love with it, and Yo-Kai Watch 2 is an amazing sequel. The battling is fun, the befriending mechanic is unique for a creature-collecter, and the world is surprisingly large! I love this game from it's side-quests all the way down to its shopping mechanics. I would highly recommend this game for anyone looking for a new experience. Get it out of 3ds purgatory!

Unlike the previous installment, in this one we are allowed to travel 60 years into the past and befriend ancient Yokai. The story, just like in the previous installment, has nothing remarkable, but that's beside the point. The Yokai are easier to befriend now, and some new things have been added, like trains, which I hate with all my heart: it's the most dreadful mechanic they could have added to the game. I would have given it the same rating as the first game, but because of the awful trains, I will deduct one star.enter image description here
