This game is so cool, but I am so bad at it. I'm getting the hang of Stage 3. But Stage 2 is so tricky with 1 particular boss. It is such a a methodical schmup once you understand the chain mechanic of this game. Shooting 3 of the same color and shooting that same color to keep building and building your score or shooting the secret chain to gain 10000 off the gate. Both are viable. The starting level is an amazingly designed level, putting you in situations which weapons are best viable like a claustrophobic hallway, making you use the sword. Or waves of which enemies to shoot at. It is such a a great game, but I need to git gud first. And it's gonna be a while before I do so. I've been playing through story mode and it's a double edged sword. You restart the whole game with your weapon levels carried over from your last run. On one hand, it trivializes the game where you kill bosses very quickly, but on the other hand, you want to get through the levels quickly before you bring yourself back up to where you last were.

Radiant Silvergun is coming to Steam finally! I was super into Ikaruga back in the Gamecube era, so I've always wanted to check out its predecessor. The spinny sword attack looks so fun!
