Coming out of nowhere, Heretic + Hexen is an excellent game for fans of classic FPS, packed with extras, great gameplay, and many multiplayer modes to enjoy, along with achievements and development bonuses. It missed some opportunities, such as bringing Hexen II to the table and improving the weapon-switching system, but it still remains a great game.

I could practically repeat what I already said in my review of Gradius Origins. This is another excellent compilation of classics that not only respects the originals, but offer options to make it even better.

I loved both of this games when I played them as a kid —I even liked them more than Doom— and I'm really happy to see how good they have 'aged'.
