Original, not for me
This game is silly and somewhat inventive in its mechanics (as was “There is No Game”, the devs previous). I enjoyed portions of it, but as the game progressed there were whole 1-2 hour sections that were excruciating to play… one being a parody of AAA games and their QTE mechanics that got so boring, another being a tedious series …
This game is silly and somewhat inventive in its mechanics (as was “There is No Game”, the devs previous). I enjoyed portions of it, but as the game progressed there were whole 1-2 hour sections that were excruciating to play… one being a parody of AAA games and their QTE mechanics that got so boring, another being a tedious series of puzzles that kept flirting with moon logic…
Ultimately, neither the puzzles nor the story managed to keep me entertained. I am not the biggest fan of silly games, but that alone wasn’t a huge turn off. It was the puzzle design, both its occasional moon logic and tedium that really did me in. It’s a shame because there is definitely some effort here to be original.
