I played two Christmas themed Hidden Cats games at the end of 2025 that are polar (heh) opposites of each other in regards to fun and quality. One of them ended up being the worst game in the series but this one I believe is the best.

There is a new feature that hasn't been seen before in this series where if the player finds all of the cats in a specific section of the level, it gets colored in, narrowing down where you need to look for the remaining cats and adding the satisfying sensation of a coloring book. In previous entries, the level only colored in after finding all the cats so this was a refreshing spin on their simple but fun formula.

The art style was different as well but not a complete departure and it was enjoyable just as it was before.
