I wasn't really a Digimon kid. Thought the premise was interesting enough but was also like 7 watching Pokemon when it came out here, and just thought Digimon was a ripoff. I moved past that attitude pretty quickly, but just never got around to watching more than an ep or two of the show. However, I randomly gave the first Cyber Sleuth game a chance years ago when it came out, had an absolute blast, and then had even more fun with Hacker's Memory with additional Digimon added.
Soooo, I've been excited to dive into this one. That being said, there's a lot more going on with Digimon personalities and stuff, making Digivolving more complex/requiring more planning, so I feel like I'm not able to just kind of wing it and use random shit with my limited knowledge of the 'mon like I did while going through Cyber Sleuth.
