FORENSIC - M.E. Protocol puts players in the role of a forensic investigator working through nine separate cases. Each scenario is built around careful observation, evidence gathering and reconstructing what happened at the scene. The game focuses on patience and logic rather than speed, with a strong emphasis on using specialist tools like drones, ground robots and analysis equipment to uncover hidden clues.

While the structure and variety of cases help keep things fresh, the experience is held back by serious issues on Nintendo Switch. The controls feel awkward, especially in handheld mode, and important clues are sometimes difficult to spot in the environment. Progression can also feel overly rigid, forcing a strict order of actions even when the solution is already clear. Combined with weak voice acting and limited replay value, the result is a game that struggles to deliver on its interesting concept.
