Love Cannot Be Forced

I got ending 1A. It was a very bizarre and ominous experience. The music definitely set a discomforting tone. I feel like I got one of the more boring endings but I tried to pick choices I would choose IRL. It was still weird and sad and horrible.

I would recommend this game to those who are seeking a short free indie experience that will leave you disturbed and/or disgusted.

I actually created a short, simple Twine game for work. Not yet published by my employer but it was a cool experience. I grew up with various versions of Choose Your Own Adventure books, especially the Lone Wolf book series. So it was pretty cool to play this game which is essentially that in a nutshell. You make choices throughout that result in a different ending. The game is quite short. You could probably finish one run through in less than 15 minutes. But it shows you what route you took and what choices you could have changed to go a different route.

The story is pretty simple, a protagonist looking for acceptance, love, and an elusive happiness. There were elements of it that didn't make much sense to me and the shortness of it meant that not a lot was explored. Still, it's a free game and I enjoy interactive fiction overall. I might go back and try some other choices and see what other ending I get.
