An unnecessary remake of a ten years ago game... and they add a stupid internet restriction.

Ubisoft is the worst.

I'll give this a go at some point. Legends is my favorite course clear 2D platformer ever. At first, I was baffled at the leaks because the original is timeless and that it should have been a new game. The remake is being treated as a remake that expands upon the original with new music levels, a more coherent narrative, voice acting, new designs. We have word that the original Legends won't be delisted. So we're not getting a Yakuza Kiwami 3 treatment where the original is delisted. Always a major plus whenever we get a remake. I prefer the original Legends art style, but I still like how it reminds me of the CG trailers for the original game. Even though this was the last mainline Rayman game we got, I'm not too offended by this being a remake of one of my favorites. I wish we had a new game, but I'll take it. Though fuck Ubisoft for holding the franchise at gunpoint in return for good sales (and a lot of other things).
