Top-Notch Shoot Em Up

Play: 9/10 Wow hm. I wanted to dismiss this right from the start. Another sci fi spaceship shoot em up... But, I dunno. The controls are solid, the levels are well-made, honestly they are fast-paced and challenging which I usually dislike, and there's no difficulty option... Somehow, nonetheless, I had a blast playing it. I like that it felt like there were bosses to the levels. In a shoot em up this early :-D

Feel: 8/10 Despite having a lot of fun, by no means is this very innovative or striking... I notice the sector concept arising more and more in 1981... I know where this goes heh... But yeah, I can't deny I kept trying again and again, proud that I saw how the game shifts from horizontal scrolling to vertical scrolling, solving how to defeat the enemies on my own. That's rare for me, tbh, as simple as they were to figure out. Oh, and I like how the scrolling speeds up by how far forward you are: this feature can be both limiting/frustrating and exciting/interesting.

Attachment: 8/10 Another arcade game to add to the list of games I would replay when return to arcade games, which is likely at some point since they have been my main surprise so far on this journey. Oh, and plus, that image? Absurd. Lol. Can't let that one be forgotten... :-p
