It's a Tech Demo Showcase at best.

I played Tekken 3, and Sega's Virtua Fighter games from the same period. they both make this game feel like a tech demo at best. barely has any content, good music, bare bones gameplay, difficulty can become stupid to lengthen the game's play time, the box and artworks are cool to look at though.

Look somewhere else. there are better options for early 3D fighting games existing somewhere.

Battle Arena is a 1996 fighting game from Toshinden.Tamsoft, the producer of the game, and Takara, the distributor, have done a great job.The story of the game is as follows.Young Japanese swordsman/adventurer, a mysterious organization known only as the Secret Society of seven legendary fighters from his long battle arena hosted along with other travel into the tournament with his brother Toshi caller, Sho named Eiji Shinjo, who has spent the last few years lost, stepfather; The death of Sophia last year, seeking revenge against the previous tournament champion of Eiji's best friend/rival Beech Amoh, a Scottish Bounty Hunter themselves to be warriors, pursuing her long-amnesiac Russian private detective missing memories of the past; determined to save his kidnapped family from the secret society, Rungo Iron, an American miner; " blood-thirsty, who enters the tournament for personal satisfaction Fo Fai, a Chinese magician/serial killer who is Mondo, a Japanese ninja and a rival group of the secret society he lost his father missing ... the heartfelt orphan dancer who has long been searching for personal answers about her; duke B seeking revenge against Eiji for a final defeat.
