As with other forms of activism as art, it is encouraging to see video games continually push boundaries as acts of activism. This game is by no means fun to play, but it engages in a worthwhile conversation. Aside from the absolutely heartbreaking aspect of the world the game reflects, works like this show a maturation of video games as a media form that can be utilized for more than entertainment. It may push buttons, upset people and break the rules of what some typically conceive of as games, but as a form of activism as art that is what it needs to do.

Easy Level Life is currently in development. I will be watching this one closely as it progresses, to see where it leads and what it has to say.
