Super Cat Bros

Definitely wasn't something I could say I really liked, but I can't say I didn't like it either. Very mediocre game here. The only reason I finished it is because my kiddos really enjoyed watching me play and that was a good enough excuse to go through the motions on this one.

I will say the controls are good for this kind of mobile game. I really enjoy what they did. Left part of the screen moves you left and right moves you right. Double tap either side and it puts you into a run. It was a lot more intuitive and natural than I thought it was going to be initially.

This game had potential also. Through in a little cute cat story and some longer more thought out levels and this could have been really good.

Collecting cats and using different ones for various puzzles was a very cool idea.

The ending was incredibly anticlimactic though. Just beat the last boss and.....nothing. No credits, no FIN screen, no extra cat for beating the game, nothing.

Unless you are a cat enthusiast you can probably stay away from this one. There are a slew of great platformers on mobile and this doesn't come close to touching them.
