Wizard is a very early action title for the Atari 2600. It is a finished prototype designed by developer Chris Crawford but was never published due to Atari marketing game cartridges that were 4k rather than 2k in size.

Look: 7/10 Behind-their-time graphics if anything. Still enjoyed them nonetheless.

Sound: -/10

Play: 7/10 Quite obviously a prototype imo, even though people describe it as finished. Fun idea. A simple screen design but functional. With that being said, the gameplay was so confusing at first, and the shooting remains so ambiguous. Maybe this would be more enjoyable with a proper release and manual, but as of now, I have to rate it as a prototype.

Feel: 6/10 Nothing special. Though not bad either. Worth a try if interested in that pac-man maze-esque, uh, um, shooting action-ish, genre?

Attachment: 7/10 I might return, I might not. But I enjoyed my playthrough, I did a few different challenges, went for different hiscores, etc. Not enough info online, nor any playthroughs, to truly confirm I played through all of "main game" (as much as that term can apply to this era), but I feel I can say I enjoyed playing a bit over 20 minutes of this getting to know the gameplay and mechanics.
