Why does this page look different?
We're in the process of merging Giant Bomb game entries to IGDB entries. This is an older Giant Bomb page. It's safe to use, and all data will eventually be moved to the corresponding IGDB entry.
Mobility is a platformer that looks like BoxBoy, plays more like Super Meat Boy, but contains no traditional enemies and is very approachable. Instead of difficulty settings, each level may be played in a few different modes that adapt goals or gameplay elements that happen to increase or decrease difficulty. It's a clever and interesting technique, playing out over 30–60 minutes of main game (followed by as much speedrun fodder as you'd like).
I appreciate that its designer took the time to add a light story with a bit of dry wit, which further elevates this above the average independent study project.
