I'm bad at chess, but luckily this game doesn't have anything to do how real chess is played.

It's a puzzle game that's kind of like deconstructed, single-player chess. Your objective is to capture the king, but first you have to capture everything else. When you capture a piece you become that piece, and can only move in the way that it would be able to move in a normal chess game (rooks in straight lines, bishops in diagonal ones, etc).

Essentialy, it becomes a question of how to chain your moves together in just the right way to clear the board. It's an excellent concept that's well-executed. If you like logic puzzles and at least vaguely know the rules of chess, you'll like this.
