Not much more to it than the titles says. Less even, as theres no disease or risk of calamitious river fording. You hire a staff with skill stats, buy goods and supplies and wander a very, very large map that I guess is supposed to represent the Levant to China but I didn’t recognize any land features. You fight bandits and wolves along the way in autocompleted battles determined by your staff’s skill stat. It has very, very simple graphics. The biggest difficulty really is just that there’s nowhere to go eventually. Apparently, impassable mountain ranges surround the Silk Road? When you come upon settlements, you get a short audio history lesson on that location (blah di blah town was a well known stop along the Silk Road before being conquered by the Schmoopie people of Schmoop and disappearing from history. It’s main trade good was social media exposure. Etc) but other than that, there’s not much to it. I played for a few hours total over the course of a couple of months. It’s fine, inoffensive and relatively boring. A student of history may find it more fascinating than I did.
