Whether or not you've played the original King's Quest games from the 80's and 90's, this remake deserves your time if you enjoy point and click adventures. In fact, if you haven't played through the AGDI remake of King's Quest 2, you should start there first because this one ties in with that game.

In my opinion, you can either play or skip the King's Quest 1 remake in this series. It really doesn't have much of a plot, it's just a fetch quest with fun yet disassociated puzzles.

This remake really takes the things that made the original KQ3 great, removed the tedium and dead-ends, and just went to town filling in all the blanks with interesting new content. I think this easily stands toe to toe with King's Quest VI in terms of quality, and that was Sierra at its peak.
