A bullet ridden marketing ploy *
This review is for the Demon Throttle - Nintendo Switch - United States (2022) releaseA modestly fun shootemup that doesn't stand out amongst the plethora of competent indie action games released in the last years.
Level design is limited, game options are scarce considering the short length and intended replayability of the experience, the difficulty do not seem to scale when switching between singleplayer and local co-op, making the former far too difficulty. Also, the humour is absolutely A W F U L.
I did like the aesthetics and gun feel of Demon Throttle, but overall this is a somewhat bland shooter that was only released physically in order to push demand up, probably due to the game itself not pushing enough weight of its own.
