CyanGear gave to

Idk what the hell the Apple store reviews are on to give this game such a high score. I will admit, it has a very strong presentation with beautiful illustrations, great music, and 3D models for every monster. However, the game fails in every other aspect. It's pay to win, somehow even more luck-based than regular Yu-Gi-Oh, and absurdly slow. This last point is probably the worst aspect about this game. Even when you toggle on the fast forward button, single-player duels take at least 6-7 minutes. However, ranked and raid duels do not have this fast forward feature and you have to deal with players with potato internet, leading duels to take around 12 minutes each. And if one of the players haopens to disconnected, your going to have to wait another 3 minutes as the game has a stroke trying to figure out what the hell to do. If you're a fan of the anime with absolutely no interest in learning the actual card game and don't mind matches that take ages, then you MIGHT like this game.

Farewell Cross Duel. Hopefully Konami learns a valuable lesson from your failure

No way this game flopped so hard that they are already announcing its shutdown not even a year after launch

This game launched back in September and it just straight up didn't work on my phone for whatever reason (some suspected it's a screen aspect ratio thing??)

It took them 3 months to fix it and ping my phone that the game launched, as if nothing happened.

Honestly, I just wanted an anime fanservice game that isn't Duel Links. This isn't really doing it for me, unfortunately. It's not that far off if not worse than Duel Links, fanservice wise. The currency stuff also makes me glaze over my eyes. I can't really be bothered to open it anymore.
