KARMA: The Dark World

A clear Observer clone that starts off strong, loses steam towards the middle then goes off the rails and becomes almost comically cliche and lame out of nowhere before a final leg that is almost 30 minutes of cut-scenes that simultaneously exposition-dump a ton of dead-end information AND try to introduce sequel bait, despite the large amount of completely abandoned threads the game collects in a 6.5 hour runtime.

It feels like two different games were written then meshed into one, and also as if the team ran out of resources and time. A very confusing product overall. I wanted to like it more, but it just,,, sort of fizzled out, went nowhere and then had a typical fantasy anime ending with zero prompting. And--again--that credits sequel bait... this needed stronger direction.
