Ano Harewataru Sora yori Takaku

The main character, Hayato Otoya, was a cheerful boy who lived in Amanoshima, where aerospace research is active. One day, he is asked by Arisa Akatsuki a classmate if he wanted to build a rocket together. Otoya was trying to join the rocket club, Biakko, where Arisa is the director, and he wondered why she would invite an amateur like himself into the club. There, Kaho Reimei, the deputy director of the rocket production department ARC, which has the best ability in the school, appeared and notified Biakko that the rocket building club had been abolished. Arisa stood up in response to the challenge and involved members including Kaho, to stop the club from being abolished if they, "win the rocket tournament by the second semester."
