Intro

Ryza Roads is a game in which you move around an island and participate in races using cars, boars and planes.

Review

I got this game for free on Itchio and Microsoft Store half a year ago. Apparently it launched in March 2019. The game is still in alpha. The environments are basic and empty. Races are short and simple "follow the waypoints" stuff. You have to win races to get money to buy new vehicles.

During the second race my car seriously struggled to climb up the hill. I quit the race and decided to explore a bit. There's almost nothing to see. Houses are just empty spaces with doors. My car got stuck on a bench and refused to budge. I entered a buidling that actually had furniture. It was placed haphazardly in a corner and a character was just standing there, i'm guessing he was stuck. This is after nearly 2 years of development. And Microsoft sells this for freaking €7 on their store! What a scam.
