Despite being a traditional collect-and-store-treasure text adventure, some really, uh, unique treasures heh. Giving me Kingdom Hearts and kids adventures vibes. I loved typing "Get Carrots" :-p (for the record, I grew the carrots myself.) This is a very unique game, with very unique treasures and "puzzles." It truly felt, well, adventure-y. But text-based and not annoyingly RPG/RNG-based as was common in this era for the more expansive adventures.

Rather than the usual frustrating Artic Adventure, I found this one more fun. I always love Onyx Sculptures in games :-p And oh wow, catching Salmon with a Net o.O Don't make me think of Runescape gah! And heh thank goodness I thought to get an extra Salmon, indeed (for the later Crocodile after setting to Sail). Pretty predictable at this point, but still. I dunno if it's just the Carrots item, and I hope it's not that petty I think it's more so the item retrieval vibes, but it gave me slight Humongous Entertainment point and click adventure vibes. I know I bring those games up often, but they were very fundamental to my gaming, even as I got older.

Anyway, I like how this is almost a satire of the collecting-treasures game. And while I was enjoying it, near the end, I made a slight mistake, and the fact that I wasn't motivated to retry it--as short as it was--says something about it :-/ Another decent text adventure of this series, but this hasn't been my favorite series in general. Sometimes clever, but never great.
