It got boring after the bomb, since I was sure to prepare for it and had hints to make that happen. I'm sure if I played this without any hints, I'd either be frustrated after prepping for so long then running out of turns--or I'd really like it and be motivated to replay and replay till I get the right order down to be sufficiently prepared for the blast. As a modern player, in my current context, though, this is the right formula for a pretty fun, straightforward, run-of-the-mill text adventure I could return to, but it isn't anything special. Play this if you want to complete all the Artic Adventures, or really like apocalyptic prep-for-the-2nd-part text adventures (tho be ready for a repetitive day-by-day during the "survival" part that was surely the most disappointing part... could have been cool to have a sort of strategy gameplay style for that part where you determine how many rations you eat and what you do in a more automated way, instead of having to type it for 7 days in a row then a different thing 7 days in a row heh).

Really cool concept, relatively well-executed, and achieves the bleak feel it intended. Not a favorite feel, and felt quite bland in the end, but they achieved what they wanted!

Hmmm really not sure how to feel about this one's replayability... like I love how straightforward it is and I could replay it quite quickly and relatively easily (thank goodness no RNG-based deaths etc), but it also is so straightforward and bleak that I'm not sure. Plus, the survival part is just outright repetitive. Hm, hard to say.
Completion: Survived (100% so to speak)
