There is a lot to say regarding this game. First off, this might be the most colorful, crazy and chaotic (in a good way) I have ever played. Play the role of an AI whose mission it is to find messages throughout the world in order for you, the player, to understand the problems the AI faces. In this way, the in game protagonist is vulnerable by opening up to the player regarding the private issues it struggles with. I'm sure you don't call this breaking the 4th wall, but there surely is a word for that. Nevertheless, it's a really unique concept you rarely see in games which is a real shame. Alongside this, the game is very vibrant in its presentation: the colors literally flash in your face and are bright to the point your eyes first have to get used to them. Have you ever stayed inside without any artificial light and all the blinds closed, opened the blinds, looked at the fresh snow everywhere and you get that funny tickle feeling in your eye forcing you to look away for a second? The feeling is similar to that! (Although it might just be me as I'm half blind in one eye, any two eyed volunteers?)
As already mentioned, this game uses very bright and flashy colors. Rest assured, you can change this in the settings. However, even then I advise caution to people with epilepsy! These settings permit for changing the color saturation and brightness including other cool effects such as vignette. Play with the brightness and saturation all the way up with every effect selected, this is how I imagine hippies see the world when they take their magic mushrooms. However, the font of the settings can surely be hard to read, especially with all the bright colors arounds (Once again, take this with a grain of salt as it might just be my vision issue causing this).
Now, having said the most important aspects of this game, let me include the iconic question I discuss in every review of mine: Is it worth it? Once again, it depends. This game isn't perfect. There are some imperfections here and there. First, this game, according to NZXT CAM, runs at 100% GPU usage. Yes ladies and gentlemen, you read that right, but no need to worry. This doesn't mean 100 degrees. It's merely using the maximum load of your GPU. Temperature stayed at 40 Celcius. You rarely see that in games. Secondly, how do you move? Its simple but I myself needed 10 minutes to figure this out. You have to assign those buttons manually in the settings by pressing ESC. Thirdly, depending on if you got an issue with flashing colors and the severity, this game could cause some real damage to you and you should refrain from playing it. Fourth, there is no fourth. That's it. If all three points are kept in mind, I would say: go on, get this crazy game! This is such a unique game like you have never seen before. It's one of those games that you have to play yourself first to believe it.
