For what this game is trying to do and go for, I like it quite a bit. I'm a fan of the Arkham Horror tabletop games and have played practically every edition as well as its predecessor. There was a period of time where I was able to gather up friends and rope them into completing most campaigns of Arkham Horror and it was very fun. But anyway, this game is pretty much that. Using the Cthulhu Mythos, the game centers around you playing through different scenarios across time as you help Yog-Sothoth fix space and time. Using investigators you create, much of the gameplay consists of you exploring your environment, gathering clues, the occasional battle, and of course tons of dice rolling. If you're familiar with Arkham, you already know what to expect. Your goal in each scenario varies though you are free to branch off and do your own thing, as each scenario also has multiple endings with different rewards.
Unfortunately, though I do like it quite a bit, it suffers from a very shaky translation. A very common thing with Chinese games getting translated to English. And for a game that's mostly reading, it's a significant issue. Having been raised in the depths that is novelupdates, I'm quite used to iffy translations and can push through. Though with that said, I can't recommend this game to anyone but fans of the tabletop games it tries to emulate and only if you just want to really scratch that itch again. I won't get my hopes up, but maybe the game will see translation updates over time.
EDIT: Upon looking at the store page again, it seems they've addressed the translation issues and are actively working to fix it. That's reassuring, though it seems I will have to momentarily put down the game and wait for that. Something to look forward to though.
