The biggest dilemma with the King's Dilemma is the fact that its a single player video game based on a multiplayer board game, and doesn't tweak its systems enough to handle what a giant change that is.

It's a digitization where we needed an adaptation; with an actually rock solid presentation and kind of an interesting story/world doing a ton of lifting to compensate for a gameplay system that's too contrived to make sense of on a first playthrough but too 'solved' to be of any interest on a subsequent.

It's not meritless, it's just hard to identify who this game is for.
